Laundromat Conversations with Gma

By Max Sherpa

Aheeeey. GMA, your work is in providing the scaffolding for damaged hearts to find truth!

I have been reflecting on the roles that can be played in the world, and on our laundromat conversations.

The patriarchal power that we are finding is harmful to ourselves and the planet has had many centuries to accumulate. It’s foundation is on the human consciousness which existed at its inception, one which allows fear and scarcity, and then dark contracts founded on unconsciousness to alleviate said fear and scarcity.

It is so CONVENTIONAL to suppose that great patriarchal power is the route to creating great social change, for it is the predominant form of power which we witness on the planet. So much so that it is a hegemony – an ideology so pervasive it appears a fundamental aspect of reality (credit for the hegemony concept goes to Antonio Gramsci).

But one time at the laundromat you spoke to me of other power, GMA. In my own words, consciousness IS power, that is in and of itself a powerful shift.

It is to be expected that power of a different nature will appear different. It is to be expected that it will not necessarily compete. Simply to say ‘I AM’ is a profound form of consciousness that shakes the earth. Your nomadic ways GMA are your signature, your consciousness which shakes the earth.

What if your bundle was a beacon for this I AM, GMA, one which everyone knew instinctively when they simply saw it? Power in this sense can come from many places, and your bundle has an I AM derived from Indigenous knowing and the land.

Old somatic patterns of my former state of being are in my heart.

Blessings to the great spirit for this opportunity to unlearn how I have held my soma, and relearn what HEALTH looks like!

I dream for the Great Spirit, as I am Great Spirit.

I dream for the Earth, as I am Earth.
